Avocado! Wow what an amazing fruit with so many health benefits. The first thing that comes into your mind when we talk about avocado would be a Guacomole”( yes the recipe will soon be coming on my blog for this amazing salad ).
I had such an urge to have something cold ,creamy and sweet.
Now with an intention of weight loss , the thought didn’t seem to be very appealing.But I had to fulfill my sweet tooth craving, so came up with this idea of making a smoothie which is healthy and tasty as well.
Strawberry and banana is a great combination by itself for a smoothie. With a little twist of an avocado the taste enhances because of its creamy texture.

I experimented this combination with almond milk and yoghurt and it was just amazing .

Avocado 1 medium ripe
Banana 1 medium ripe
Strawberry 1 cup
Almond milk / regular milk 1 cup
Honey/ maple syrup 1 -2 tbsp
Flax seed powder 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
-Chop the strawberries , banana and avocado into small cubes.
-In a mixer jar/ blender put in all the chopped fruits.
-Add in the almond milk/ regular milk, honey/ maple syrup , flax seed powder ( optional) and vanilla essence and blend everything together.
-Adjust the taste accordingly for the sweetness.
-Serve it chilled.
Tasty healthy and yummy smoothie ready to serve.
